What’s the hot topic in the Southwest in July and August?  Not football, not baseball, not basketball and surely not auto racing!  It’s the Monsoons!  I say it’s a great time to take Summer vacation and head to the lake.  With six weeks of rest and relaxation we will all be ready to get back to racing at the park on August 16th.

We know of three new competitors planning to race the fall season in the Lucas Oil Late Models along with a couple of new competitors in the Factory Stock class and half a dozen new Bombers and Bomber Lites joining us for the fall opener.

The point leaders at the break are Joe Paladenic in Lucas Oil Late Models, Loren Sheffield in Factory Stocks, Jon Martinez in Sport Compact, Chris Stess in the Lucas Oil Modifieds, Robert Scott in the INEX Legends, Shawn Perrin in the TRP Bombers and Kyle Milburg in the TRP Bomber Lites.
